How do I use the advanced search function?
On the results page or right-hand menu, click on the "Advanced search" link. This displays additional fields and filters to let you select the type of documents you are looking for, the section(s) of the website where they can be found, and their date or period of publication. You can also sort results based on the pertinence of keywords or the date of publication.
How can I sort search results?
On the results page, click on the "Advanced search" tab, pull down the "Sort by" filter and select your sorting option, by date or relevance.
I get too many results with my keyword search. What can I do?
On the results page, click on the "Advanced search" tab and reformulate your search using more key words. You can also filter the documents by section, type and/or subject.
I get no results with my keyword search. What can I do?
Check the spelling of keywords. Use fewer terms if you have several.
What is an ID?
An ID is a unique identifier for each item of site content. It lets you find specific content more easily using the advanced search function. At the bottom of the advanced search page, you can enter a media ID directly in order to find it.
RSS feed
What tools do I need to use RSS feed?
Special software
You can get an RSS feed reader to aggregate all the information published on your preferred sites and group all the links so that you can access the latest information with just one click.
We recommend: NetNewsWire for Mac, and Google reader for Windows, Mac and Linux.
An online service
Dedicated sites such as Bloglines and the main personalized content portals (AOL and Google) now host the RSS feeds of your choice.
A navigator
Some navigators turn RSS feeds into dynamic bookmarks. For example, Firefox displays an icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the page when it recognizes an RSS feed. Just click on it to add the content to your bookmark, which will be updated automatically, even if you do not visit the site.
In some cases, e-mail software has a built-in RSS feed reader.

How do I unsubscribe from the Renault Press distribution list?
Log on to the website, go to the "My alerts" section and uncheck the boxes corresponding to the newsletter for different subjects and content type. Even when you unsubscribe from e-mail reception, you can still access information on the media.renault.com website using your access codes.
I've changed my e-mail address. What do I have to do to receive alerts on press documents or events in my new mailbox?
To receive alerts on press documents or events in your new mailbox, simply update our personal data. Log on to the website, go to the "My profile" section and enter your new e-mail address.
NB: this change will also impact your ID. To log on to the site, you will need to enter your new e-mail address.
How do I change/update my personal data?
Log on to the website and go the "My profile" section to change your personal data. Make the necessary changes and click on "Save" to save them.
My Page
How do I change/update the preferences on "My page"?
Log on to the website, go to the "My profile" section and the "My page" tab to modify your preferences. Make the necessary changes and click on "Save" to save them.
Why is there no content displayed in "My page"?
If no content is displayed in "My page", click on the link "Change my page preferences" and add media types, subjects or products. Save your preferences then return to "My page".
Content and downloading
What do I do if multimedia content is not correctly displayed?
If multimedia content (photos, videos, audios, etc.) is not displayed correctly, you can check your configuration and download the latest versions of the necessary software from the "Technical information" page (technical information).
How do I add items to "My Cart"?
To add items and place them in "My Cart", just check the box on the left of the title of a press release, photo, video or other content available for downloading.
Your cart, located in the right-hand menu of the site, will show you the number of items added. For example: MY CART (3)
How do I download several items at the same time?
To download several items at the same time, use the "My Cart" function. Add the items of your choice then click on "Download" in the right-hand menu or on "Review cart".
Can I select the format of the items I want to download?
The media.renault.com website offers a choice of file formats for all types of downloadable content. When downloading your cart, you will be asked to select formats.
